National Vietnam & Gulf War Veterans Coalition Endorse Kesha Rogers

Kesha Rogers, Independent candidate for the 9th CD of Texas, received the following letter of endorsement from the National Vietnam & Gulf War Veterans Coalition October 17, 2018.

Dear Ms. Rogers,

I would like to express, on behalf of the National Vietnam and Gulf War Veterans Coalition, our appreciation for your willingness to serve our nation in the US House of Representatives and to support those who have answered America’s call to duty. Your leadership and patriotism are especially needed in the House of Representatives at this particular time in our history when our beloved country is at risk, not only from foreign terrorists, but also from domestic advocates of extreme social and economic ’reform’ and the weaklings who fail to confront them. Accordingly, the Board of the National Vietnam & Gulf War Veterans Coalition was polled and has unanimously approved the endorsement of your candidacy.

The Coalition consists of numerous veterans organizations and veterans advocacy groups which represent over 250,000 veterans and, along with their family members and supporters, a significant portion of America’s voting population. Please recognize that national security is the Coalition’s primary objective. As veterans, we served to protect our nation and, although we are concerned about veterans issues, we continue to be focused, like you, on “What can we do for our country?’

We, of course, shall be grateful for your support of legislation related to the proper care, treatment and recognition of members of our armed forces and our veterans. However, legislation pertaining to national security issues, the elimination of terrorism and the
terrorists, especially the obliteration of ISIS, the security of our nation’s borders, the prevention of illegal immigration and of amnesty for illegal aliens, the repeal of Obamacare, the achievement of US energy independence, the safety of our police and citizenry from the violent behavior of the ‘underprivileged,’ the restoration of the US economy, the preservation of Second Amendment rights, the survival of our ally, Israel, and the elimination of human rights violations by repressive communist and Islamic regimes is extremely important to us. We would also be grateful for your supporting legislation condemning the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. As defenders of our nation and human freedom, how could we feel otherwise?

We wish you success in your campaign and look forward to your future service to our nation as a member of the United States House of Representatives. We shall seek your co-sponsorship, on behalf of veterans and members of our armed forces, for future legislation supported by the Coalition.
