When: Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 6:30 PM
One year after the devastating disaster of Hurricane Harvey, and the massive losses endured by the people of Houston, the fact remains that much of the damage inflicted on the region has yet to be repaired, and virtually nothing has been done to put the projects which would prevent another such disaster, into motion. Voters need to be informed of what can be done, and the kinds of solutions which exist but are continually put off due to criminal negligence in the name of "cost-cutting." We must protect our citizens first, eliminating the danger of destruction of lives and property, instead assuming this will happen year after year. Please join us Thursday, August 23rd, at 6:30 pm for an event hosted by the Kesha Rogers for Congress campaign, featuring special guest Hal Cooper, a leading civil engineer, who has worked on national transportation and water infrastructure projects. Mr. Cooper will be joined on the panel with other leading engineers from Houston, along with Mr. Brian Lantz of Executive Intelligence Review, speaking on funding of such great projects.
